met so many different people from so many different places which really took my mind off being so far from home. i actually felt amazed and happy - a good mix. feelings were very literal with the weather dampening and the rooms really spartan. i'm living now in an international corridor in a building called Sparta. it was quite a shock seeing the room at first but i got used to it within 2 days.

first things first.. the girls of E + F corridor checked out the ever-important bathroom and were slightly shocked to find no shower curtain in a girls toilet shower stall that faced the corridor! i remember thinking out loud... "wah, these people are quite liberal ah...." but that problem was quickly resolved with a little help from mysterious nearby shower location which should not be named. haha.
the first night was a little tough, i usually shower and sleep late so that night i wanted to bathe at around 2am and i semi-bravely walked to the bathroom at first but the shower room light somehow couldn't come on so i started feeling creeped out and decided i would wake early and bathe in the morning instead. (and shiver ka see[shiver until die] after that).
